Communications

Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, all communications and materials will be sent home to our families digitally via ParentSquare. There will be no physical mailings sent home. 

• ParentSquare is a user-friendly platform is a secure system which allows teachers, administrators, parents, and students to communicate safely and confidentially, and eliminates the need for physical mailings. Parents can quickly and easily approve permission slips, RSVP for events, securely receive important student documents, view the school calendar of events, and more all in one convenient location.

If you have not already, we encourage you to download and set up your ParentSquare account prior to the start of the new school year. Parents and guardians linked with NLPS students in PowerSchool will be receiving an invitation to join via email and text. Please see the below step-by-step instructions to walk you through the process once opening that activation link. 

• We also encourage all parents and guardians to take a moment to confirm that your Parent PowerSchool account is up to date. Student grades, class schedules, student attendance reports, graduation progress plans, and more continue to be accessible via this platform.

For those completely new to the District/PowerSchool, step-by-step instructions are included in the below attachments. *You will need your parent Access ID and Parent Access password to complete this process.
